Clothing


This old bonnet is for a baby, I am guessing based on the size. It is black satiny, silky fabric with what appears to be maybe petit point floral design. There are beaded clusters also. This has to be Victorian era or earlier, I think. Please ask questions. I am not an expert by far but can try to answer any questions you may have. There are no ties on this. Some wear to edges and inside lining (brown fabric). The black fabric and floral design appear to be in good condition. Item # C-262 Price: $18.00


This is a lovely old nightgown. Cotton fabric skirt and crocheted bodice. Seams appear to have been sewn by machine. It appears to have been made to have a wide ribbon laced through the bodice. Top of waist (cotton skirt part) is about 40 inches and it is about 53-54 inches in length from top of shoulder to hem. Hem is 1 3/4". This is not for dainty person! There is some minor damage--a hole under the left arm, part is just the seam came undone but there is some crochet stitching that is slightly undone. There is a hole under the right arm--I can't tell if it is just where all the sleeve part wsa joined onto the rest or if the stitches are actually loose. I am not sure how to repair this, so I will leave it up to the owner. There are a couple of soil marks and slight yellowing in areas--I would think it would all come out with gentle soaking. One hole about 1/4-3/8 inch about 7 inches up frrom bottom. I think I have covered all the details. Item # C-252 Price: $35.00
